I dont get how thats a self portriat?
How is it taking a pic of itself? I know what i'm expecting... a pic like a FB skank with her phone held out (and up of course) taking a pic looking back... BUT whats taking the pic in that shot? There is nothing connecting to the roverthingymyjig?!

The camera that took the picture is on the end of a robotic arm, it's a composite of multiple pictures.

what always blows my mind is scale. is it a tiny guy in a small machine or is the guy to scale in a big machine? u dont have any scenery to relate to so you cant judge scale.

Sorry but who the fuck mentioned anything about jobs?
Being on another planet is amazing and from the amount of pictures the rover has sent back is cool, but the one john posted isnt anything different from what ive seen, only difference is you can see the whole rover and not just parts of it.
Ive got quite a good job btw just for your info.

It's a high res photo of a vehicle on another planet, one of the best I've seen of it, while there are obviously still people on our own planet who think there's a miniature black man driving it.
That's amazing in any metric I want to measure it by.
