c20xe early dizzy type . standard cams . vernier pulleys , i have a tdc gauge and a dial gauge , just wondering whats the best to set the inlet / exhaust at ? advance / retard ? any help would be wonderfull thanks

its best to set cams with lift at tdc. set bottom end to tdc exhaust stroke then adust each cam until you get the lift at tdc that is spec'd for your cams. this is the best start point then you realy need a dyno to fine tune your cams and see whats happening.

Hes running standard cams best thing to do is just leave them till you get better spec ones and then fit verniers
