Well I'm looking into buying a car...

But it's over 4 hours away and TBH I really don't have the time to pick it up etc is there a company that would basically drive it to me and then the driver makes his way back home? sounds lazy as fuck but if it's cheap enough I'll do it.

It's nothing special car wise so don't get too excited

It's Taxed and Tested and has new tyres etc so would easily make the journey. Don't have much more info other than it's in Somerset but when I buy it, which should be soon, I'll need someone pretty soonish.

Only ever bought a car blind once but it was mint so I'm taking a big risk.

I suppose if its someone I trust off here try could properley assess the condition of the car too?

Don't understand why you'd buy blind.

Its only 1 day and presumably a decent wedge of cash, not worth the risk imo.

I wouldn't want to make the decision over condition. Where is it coming from? Just a private sale?

Yeah private sale, guy off Briskoda and the car will probably be about £1900.

At the end of the day I wouldn't expect the person bringing it back to actually inspect it I just meant a quick look over ie all docs correct and 2 sets of keys etc etc. Might consider traveling down myself as it shouldn't cost a lot on the train.

Octavia vRS? Seriously, I'd do it very cheap - literally the cost of my train to Somerset and then from the NW to Bristol. Send me a u2u if you're interested and I'll give you my number.

You going to day insure it Tom?

You might be OK for a lift home, I've got cars to pick up down there this week and next week.
