Just put another redtop in my Corsa on the same mounts and it touching the bonnet when I shut it fully the bonnet is raised on the drivers side, any ideas or has anyone experienced this.

Either not fitted properly or more likely its a late c20xe from a mk 3 astra gsi on motronic 2.8 with dispac instead if dizzy.

These were fitted with crude traction control which had an extra throttle body fitted underneath the standard one meaning the inlet manifold sits a bit higher.

simple enough to remove and the tc system had its own ecu so you wont get any engine ecu fault codes.

It same engine old dizzy type and it in all the mounts properly, I'm thinking it could be the rear gear box mount as the power cap seems to be lower than before hopping if I get that up the front will come down a bit

You've fitted something differently, they are generally all the same,
And the rear mount is dictated by the gearbox, I think maybe use the wrong holes on the block as there are two sets?
Irc.
Or wrong holes in the mount

easily done, the pas mount has the same location of holes just a touch higher.

I have done it before but realised before I attached it into the bay
