Hi guys

going to potentially pick up a pair of cobra bucket seats tomorrow for a good price, wanted a pair so i can take passengers as for the last couple of years been running a single seat but my mates want some rides in it

now the seat im currently using is a cobra and is side mounted and iv welded bars and mounted it fine with the cobra side mount brackets

the ones im going to get are both base mounted, now passenger side im not too bothered about, just buy the right subframe/adapter and bolt it straight in to corsa seat mount points easy

however i was wondering if there are any conversion brackets to convert a base mounted seat to a side mount then i can just use my old cobra side mount brackets

or is it a case im gonna have fabricate my own subframes to make these 2 new seats fit?

any ideas?

I would probably go for my own Fabricated ones.

My old Base-Mount Cobras on the adaptor brackets sat too high. The only way I would have got them to sit right would have been to replace them with Side Mounts or by making my own brackets

You could easily do it with some angle tbh,
Bolt it too the bottom and have it so the other edge faces up along the side of the seat I that makes sense or it'll sit way to high
Is your current drivers seat a bucket seat?
If it is have miss matched seats.
When i put a passenger one in mine it's a fibreglass kit car one lol.
