Probably the gayest thread title on a car forum I know...
But my girlfriends dropped hints at wanting to see Rihanna live next year on her tour, and the tickets have conveniently been released in time to buy for Christmas.
Has anyone been to a tour/gig/concert or whatever you want to call it at the Stadium of Light, Manchester Arena or the LG Arena Birmingham? Just wanting to know which would be best to go to, there's one in Twickenham as well but that's too far to travel!

I've been to a few at MEN, £3 to park on Boddingtons just across the road if you are driving, if not public transport is easy enough as its right next to the station.

As above, MEN is literally at Victoria station in Manchester. Get the train and get smashed

Gigs are awesome!
It's live music. Unless you hate particular band/artist. It's awesome, not a chore.
Few drinks at bar beforehand, all is good.
Been to so many gigs for various music but mainly rock/punk, have kept all tickets too, easily have 100+

Better reaction than I thought! There are some tickets available at the Stadium of Light, haven't actually checked Manchester Arena so that could already be sold out

Standing or seated? I'd like the atmosphere of standing, but I'd also rather be able to sit down and not be mega squashed

Hate seating.
That's why don't see many big bands.
All arranged and sit still boring, usually next to over dressed people trying to get noticed and pretty boys in fkin plimsoles

I usually get one of the stands next to the stage seated, I couldn't do with been on the floor plus most ppl stand up in the seated section anyway and you are above all them on the floor who are struggling to see. Plus when you first get there it's boring so I'd rather sit down get some drinks and some food and chill out

There only looks to be some seating left at the Stadium of Light and it's in the corner, so i have no idea what the view will be like! Probably hardly be able to see her!
