I was a member on here many years ago, had an Irmscher kitted SXi

Then an Arden Blue GSi with Xenons, Sunroof, Sat Nav etc, ended up looking like


Anyway, ending up trading it in for a Golf GT TDi 150 in 06/07.
Always regretted selling the GSi & promised myself if I ever found it I'd buy it back. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, random looking on Gumtree turned it up. Few calls & few hours later I was on my way to the Borders to bring it home.
It's had 3 owners since & done 50k extra, although its a fair bit rougher.




It's gained a VXR Turbo & FMIC but lost the Samco air hoses, Opel airbag cover etc.
3 of the wheels are leaking from dents on inside rim and the powder coat is lifting off the rims so that's the first job.
New clamp for the precat pipe as its blowing badly, already ordered a full VXL service kit, that's getting done first week in Jan, along with a coolant & gearbox oil change.
After that it will be bodywork, new guides for front bumper, rear bumper repaired etc and full machine polish.

Got my wheels away for refurb, it's currently sat looking sorry for itself on Vectra Sri rims

16's fit over the front brakes fine then? Mates got a set if then that I wanted to borrow to take mine off an refurb but thought 16's didn't fit

Got the wheels refurbished


Binned the mudflaps and gave it a good clean seeing as I was off today





Still after a pair of front jacking point covers, then it's time for some paint to freshen it up.
