...I'm after a low washer fluid logo, one I could shine an LED through and make it look like a dashboard light - something like this:
The top one ideally. Any ideas where I can get one?

Seems like alot of hassle for something that isn't going to stop you running out.

It's illegal to have none so in fairness it's a worthwhile mod

Meant to check it once a week imo at the same time you check lights, oil, coolant and tyres

It will be telling him when it's low, not when it's empty...

Only thing i can see being abit awkward would be putting a sensor in the washer bottle to tell you when its low unless you can fit a washer bottle from a puma or a golf

Oh and I can't check the level as it's a tube that disapears into the wheel arch.

But his problem is with it running out on the motorway. Regardless of the light coming on, its still more than likely going to run out.
Its not as if he is going to instantly pull over when the light comes on.

I'll be setting the pins up on my sensor so I'll have enough to finish the average jouney with what's left. Then I know when I get home/work/wherever I need to top it up. At the moment all the warning I get is that fateful noise when the pump is passing no water (weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee) and my wipers turn on leaving me with a smeary as fuck windscreen. Annoying, especially as most of my normal journeys use roads that are unlit meaning you cant see fuck all.

But what if it dosn't come on at the end of the day, but is close to the pins. So then by the next day, right into the start of the journey, the light comes on??
I would say that making a point of topping it up daily, or before each journey, is a far better idea than this.

Topping it up before each trip is a far better idea than something which is integrated into loads of modern cars Pow, don't bother.

My car doesnt have low washer fluid light and thats quite new.
Infact the fluid is low because the washers dont come on straight away. When its full they do.
