It was very foggy this morning, but even so, there would be lights on the crane, surely?

Looking at his picture I would suggest it was a little more than a 'few metres' from him when it crashed.

they said earlier their was only one person on board, so that means it must be a pedestrian or someone in one of the cars that got hit

I'm surprised the lights even need to be turned on, surely they should always be on regardless.

Not too far from here, was in at 7:40 but didn't hear anything.

Guy at work saw the chopper go overhead shortly before as he was walking in.

here we go

quote:
Kate Hoey, MP for Vauxhall, tells the BBC there should be an "inquiry into the increasing numbers of helicopters flying around London" among so many new high-rise buildings.

She says: "The river is a kind of motorway for helicopters, but the noise of course is horrendous sometimes, when we get a lot of helicopters hovering. Maybe we've come to take it almost for granted that people have the right to take their helicopter over London at any time and I think we may have to look at that."

one crash and already demands for inquiries and legislation changes

When are people going to realise that no matter how many legislations you make, or how much health and safety bullshit you introduce, freak accidents will always happen

Steve's worry is simple, any legislation might ban drones and then he would have fuck all to do but sit on the internet and pull his wire over transexual porn.
