picked up my road bike today. really was in like new condition. great to ride compared to the cheap halfords mountain bike i was using previous. did 31 miles on it today. its had the front gears changed to a triple from the usual 2 that it came with new and the seat is different although it comes with the original one. fair light bike.

My bike has been sat in the shed since early December. Anything I should be doing apart from air in tyres and oil chain before first ride?

yeah the original looks shocking will get a pic of it later. Bike deal came with floor pump, pump attached to bottle cage, front and back lights, a bike lock, that seat and also a trek helmet.

65 miles today on road bike. Rode through some pretty deep flooding in New Forest, messed up me cadence sensor which in turn was making my Edge 500 auto-pause constantly. Ended up swapping to strava on my phone for last bit.
Also put an order in for a Charge Plug for commuting and a Cannondale SuperSix.

Fuck me JW. Have you got a sponsor now or something? Which Supersix you getting?

Just the cheaper one with Tiagra. I want one with better groupset and wheels but I don't like the frame colours on the higher end ones
I'd love the SuperSix Evo SRAM red but I can't justify it for the level of riding I do.
Plan is to upgrade wheels on the one im getting and that will do me. Should have it early April.
Charge Plug is hopefully end of Feb, ideal timing for when I move and start riding to work.
