More of a query for those with hids, but I only just tried my high beam and noticed its yellow when on high beam? Is everyone's like this?

Well tbf it is for a rover bit sure high beam still works off the same bulb for them lol

it will be a different bulb

hid's will be shite for high beam because the take a few seconds to warm up

Yes dan my friend had a rover 25 and they are basically the same so he gave me them! Not bothered tbh i think il just leave them as they are! Dont really need to use high beam for them so should be ok Thanks for replies guys

Yup, will be the bulbs. A lot of the cheaper ones use normal halogen filaments for the high beam. Ones I have use one xenon filament with a reflector that moves so more light is reflected out for high beam.

this, fitted them in my vectrs about 4 years ago and they were pants till they had been on for a few seconds, flashing them was pointless at first

It might be the power of the bulbs the higher the K is the whiter the light output.
I've got 6000k and there a bright white output

the higher the k doesnt mean how white they are

they are usually the whitest around 4300k after that they become more blue
