I think you sould buy a slower corsa and get your own insurance. Getting insured on daddys policy is a little unfair to the poor sod you hit next and dosent get paid, cos the insurance company found out about your little scam and refused to cough up. They aint stupid you know. Especialy if your old mans already got a car, thats gonna look a bit suspect innit.?
Besides you wont build any no claims for yourself on your dads insurance. So you might as well bite the bullit and get some legal insurance. For your sake as well as mine and every other road user.

I wasent saying that you have done anything inciminating. Just that If you get insurance under your dads name with you as the second driver and the insurance company finds out that the car is yours and your the first driver, the insurance will be void.
Are you in any kind of union? I am a member of the AEEU and my mums a teacher so we both have union insurance with a company called frizzel. In our case they where the cheepest by far. In fact r kids also insured with them. Give em a try if you or your perants are a member of a union.
There really good about mods to. When i put £800's worth of wheels and suspention on the insurance dident change, there was only a £12 fee for amending the policy and sending me a new certificate. The exhaust system dident matter neither. Although they wernt to happy about an induction kit.
