Also, tried to mount my gun cab last night and what a fail that was! House seems to be made of cheese so couldnt get a decent fixing. Round 2 tonight. Need to find somewhere else to put it anyway, the Mrs was not happy i put it in her wardrobe

That's what you need to do, chuck her clothes out, and make shelves within her side of the wardrobe. Just make sure they/it isn't loaded.
