Hi guys and gals,
Yes I know, another "will-these-wheels-fit"-thread, and sorry for that, but I have been looking at different tire/offset calculators, and they have not put my mind at ease yet.
My B is a 1.4i 16v, and it's been lowered approx 60/40 using a Bilstein B10 kit.
Fitted with 175/65/14 onto 5.5" ET49 steelies at the moment, but saturday I'll be taking a roadtrip to look at some 15" opel/vauxhall alloy wheels, I believe they are 6" wide, as something tells me 15" usually are 6" wide. And the seller haven't been able to check the width of them just yet, due to sickness. He might get a chance to check up on it tomorrow.
Offset calculators say they will be 7mm wider inside, and 20mm wider outside.
So my question to you bright heads are, will 6x15 ET35 regulary fit onto B's? Or are they gonna stick to far out?

Should be fine. I'm running 7j et33 on mine with 165/45 tyres and I'm a hell of a lot lower than 60mm

That sounds great Paul. Well they are fitted with 195/40/15, so a little smaller then my current winter tires, but reckon i'll get some 50-profile later on for them, if the 195 width still fits under the arches without fouling anything.

iv got 6.5, ET35, 15"s on mine with 205/50/15's on the front of mine. cut the arches off though, sod them, they would only end up rusting anyway

They will fit no problems i would say. Im running 7" wide 15" wheels that are et38 and im running 185/45/15 tyres to give me a tiny bit of clearance and i have no problem. mines lowered around 100mm front and 70mm rear.

ET35, 6.5j, 205/50/15's. 30mm lower but probs more as the V6 lumps a heavy mother fudge

before i went wild with a grinder...
all i had done here was pulled the wing out a bit by hand....

...still caught the tyres then though

Jed B, that doesn't look good for me, if I'm gonna run run 195/50/15 then. Surely don't hope I have to pick up the grinder to get them under the arches Lol
I might get an arch roller, but don't think it'll look any good after using that, and I probably can't use the arch trim after that...
Have been thinking of some of CSR arch extensions might do the job, just don't know how to fit them, and if the arch need to be cut or not, etc. Hmm... Gonna have to get the wheels fitted, and then see what it looks like... And remember to get pictures of it

They should fit fine without Jeds modification as stated before, i would just choose a smaller profile tyre than 50's maybe 45/40's if you can! Its only because jed has drag tyres hes modded the arch bud
