Friday night, went round to a mates for a few beers. Left car there and got taxi home. Went to get it Sat morning to find it like this.

Gutted

for the sake of it, they will have got £20/£30 for the stereo. Absolute tossers.

Ian's sorted me out with a window and door seal/frame so will get it sorted. Not what I need though, just renewed insurance today, MOT next week and tax end of month.

We've had a few lately at work on the new A3 S-lines with built in sat nav, but they cost £2950.

Think that was there before Phil, as it wasn't held solid in the dash anyway, and the radio removal tools were in the ashtray

took them aswell. And the USB lead and iPod connector that was routed behind dash into the glovebox.

Thing that annoys me more is it was deadlocked, so even with window through the doors still can't be opened, and all those CD's were in drivers door. So they must have climbed in to route through them all. Bastards.

I had my van broken into late last year on a car park in Manchester, same thing really, smashed passenger window and took headunit. I think maybe they were after what's in the back though but couldn't because of the deadlocks.

Fiesta radio may be a shade darker.

I've got OE Puma ones if you want one going with the window, not perfect condition but it'll get you some tunes back.

It's ok for stereos got one sorted off a mate.

Same with this, was dead locked, so the door wouldn't have opened still, so must have got right into it cause all the CDs were in the drivers door. Parcel shelf was off too, but not sure if that was me.

That ostrich egg is actually a dehumidifier sort of thing. Full of silica gel beads, helps to stop it steaming up in winter as bad as it did. They took the bung out and poured it all over the seat :/

With shit like this, it's not even the missing stereo or broken window that bothers me most. It's the little war wounds the car's left with on the dash, etc. the kind of stuff you'll never end up fixing and will remain a constant reminder

It's a horrible feeling when your car gets broken into. I had my Saxo done a couple of times when i was visiting my Nan in hospital. They kept poping the rear window out with a screw driver.
