Our dive club picked up our new boat (brand new, only used during the Olympics), single 200hp, 7.5m long Ribcraft.

Short video @ sea.

Great bit of kit, very fun to drive too.

I've been out trialling all week on three coastguard boats with twin 200 Merc, smoky 2 strokes for the Middle East; got another next week-fucking weather has been ridiculous; hail in the face at 45knots+ is not nice!!

We started as a dive company and made the first hydraulic bow rib with a drop nose to make access to the water easier for divers-all because of MD couldn't find a boat suitable for diving some 35years ago. Don't do much for that market anymore, we're mostly offshore oil and gas support and rescue and police, military and coast guard etc.

What are Ribcraft selling these out at?

I think base price was around £26k and we added around £15K of extras and mods.

IIRC, the boats are around £39k brand new

Bit harder to drop scuba divers out of a plane.

To be fair, the actual boat was £26k, and you don't get much for that, none of the consoles or equipment you see mounted on the dash, not the bottle racks, metal ladder, etc etc
