Right guys i'm sure somone will know what the hell i'm doing wriong here

Trying to apply for a job via Jaguar Land Rover's site. Trying to upload my CV and it keeps coming up with this message...

Your attached CV file name should be in "first name surname - CV" format

ALAN_WOOD_CV.docx

Now i've tried every which way i can but it keeps saying this

Tried

ALANWOODCV
ALAN WOOD CV
ALAN WOOD C.V
ALAN WOOD - CV
ALAN WOOD - C.V
ALAN WOOD-CV
ALAN WOOD-C.V

Is it because it sais docx at the end of my file name? do i need to save it in another format?

Could it be the .docx format? Have you tried saving or converting to .doc?

I think it's just poor UI - I just tried it and the file does upload fine, it's just the instructions on file name convention persists.

Have they got a contact us or whatever, guess you're best off waiting till the morning and emailing someone about it, although its no use to you at the moment.

It shows as uploaded - you get a link to 'remove' the upload indicating that the upload worked.

I don't think the "Your file should be 'first name surname - CV' message is a fatal error message, it's just a useful hint.

Before selecting a file, 'useful' filename convention message shown:

File selected for upload 'Barry Badger CV.pdf':

File uploaded (with remove link next to it) but user interface still shows filename convention message (which is just bad design in my opinion) - I believe the file has uploaded successfully and the 'firstname surname - CV' message is for information only:
