Some context: I watched a video on youtube that had video clips about achieving some significant goals in just a short amount of time. I don't totally believe it, so I'm curious about what others think about goals and how long people think it will take to achieve them.
What are your goals? How long do you think it will take for you to achieve them?

My goals were to be thinking about starting a family by the time I was 25. I'm 32 now, single again and those goals just keep drifting further away.

Get a job as a developer, 3 more years, already been learning for nearly 2. If I could learn full time perhaps 12 months but only able to do an hour a night here and there. Will also be tough with no formal qualifications.

Raise 10k for charity, nearly done that.
Own a house, in process of trying to sort that.
Own a large warehouse distributing products around the world, failing at that.
Go to all home games at Anfield, doing that.

Fit a new engine to the corrado. 2weeks at least as still looking for an engine.
I don't believe in thinking ahead and having a plan. In reality everyone is individually doing the same thing and panic if they haven't done something and relate that to how long they have been alive.
I will just plod through working and pretending to enjoy other peoples company.. Then probably get ill and die alone. Maybe 20yrs to go. Being old will be shit.
I might just black up and move to Jamaica.

Goal was to get a 1st class degree in Computer Science ... tick.
Goal was then to travelling around the world (bungee jump, sky dive etc) ... tick
Goal was then to get a good job as a software developer ... tick
Goal was then to get physically fitter and save some money ... tick
Goal was then to go motor racing ... tick
Goal was then to move to London and live it up a bit ... tick
... Next goals.
- Buy a house / flat ... time frame (when I can be bothered to live a more boring life, probably a year or two)
- Start a business / do something substantial that makes money outside of a job - make at least a million £ (estimate time frame in my 30's)

Remain healthy and for my family and friends to do so as well. No greater goal than that, everything else comes and goes in an instant.
If I walk in front of a bus tomorrow my goal of banging Jennifer Lawrence on a bed of my own £100 notes doesn't look so great after all.

Curious how nobody has said their goal is to have two kids, a dead end job and a sexless marriage as that's where everybody I know seems to end up.
I don't do goals. I do my best in my current situation and enjoy what I have. When I don't enjoy something anymore, I change it. Simples.

To run my own driving school. I'm literally about to start my ADI training and I'm no longer allowed to drive because I've had a couple of fits recently .
