I've found myself looking at Mondeo Dervs As a daily bus to pile miles on.

Any known issues or stuff to look out for?

Not Internet.

I must sell a set a week.

I understand that I pretty much only deal with the broken cars, however, I don't sell a set of injectors for ANYTHING else, weekly.

Oh yeah, forgot about the flywheels!

The ring gear fails, destroying the starter motor, DMF and clutch in one go

About £180 plus vat per injector.

Flywheel is similar money.

It's a shame really, the flywheel thing is 100% Ford's fault, they only had about 4 flywheel part numbers for the whole range at that point so it was 'close enough' to work on loads of stuff, unlike vag who had about 20 part numbers!

180 for a clutch and fly set is OK tbh, injectors seem dear compared to these on ebay

And so many injector horror story's because the morons change the Injectors thinking it will solve the problem, but the fact is their injectors died due to the pump breaking down an the swarf is killing them.
So the new ones will died eventually as well.

I sold mine with 90k on it I put 20k of them on it, was a boss car I'd have another. I didn't do a thing to it, cost me nothing in the time I had it. I put 17" Focus titanium wheels on it and it lifted the looks a bit.

Mods are quite cheap aswell, decats can be had for 50-60quid. A common sized universal intercooler will fit onto the oem pipes with only a little bracket to be made.

Just reminded me aswell that the suffer badly from split boost pipes from egr downwards, i had two go on mine and then i bought a silicone one. Also the lower gearbox mounts like to go aswell which causes the engine to swing more back and forth causing the boost pipe to go.
Only buy an oem mount as there is cheap ones for sale on ebay and most people including me on st owners bought them and a few thousand miles down the line they had disintegrated.
