Never heard of it but a lot of import stuff goes through a company called James Clay in Halifax, might be worth a shout.

A German Pilsner. Its on my 1001 beer list and I think I drank it in the Ship and Mitre in Liverpool.

Yep tried that too. Was my first ever Dunkel. Theres a proper way to pour it apparently which involved doing some kind of bottle rubbing

I've ordered it a couple of times from various online shops; Ales by Mail, Beers of Europe, etc. But I don't know if you'd count that as cheating towards completing your "list"? I can't remember where I've seen Jever actually being served.

How are you getting on with your 1001 Beers anyway? I think I gave up at 124 off the list. There's so many fantastic other/new beers that aren't in the book that I started to feel restricted only drinking from a set list. And that's not fun for anyone.

I sometimes check beers into Untappd now instead. Do you use it?

Yeah we said that you have to find the beer in a pub/bar/restaurant otherwise we would just sit at home drinking beer which isnt much fun.
