Wouldn't surprise me, the mentality of these rich owners is not designed for football. I don't like Mancini, council estate Mourinho in my opinion, but replacing him will not benefit the club. It will just mean I don't have to see his face and listen to his drivel.
The sooner your owners fuck off and return you to mid table the better for all.

I dont think we have had the worst of seasons, dont get me wrong finishing so far behind united on points is not good enough and the champions league campaign was once again a embarrassment.
The thing is if this happens it would seem to be Txiki and Ferran pushing for it not the owners and from what they did at Barca you have got to think they have some idea as to what they are doing.

There is no way the City owners will be able to stomach trailing so far behind United in the league table and losing the Fa cup final to a team who are soon to be in the Championship, they surely must be waiting until the end of the season to give Mancini the boot and David Pratt.
No doubt if Pellegrini does come in he'll be given a ridiculous amount of money to strengthen/revamp the club with which should help make the Premier league even more interesting.

Gutted. He deserved a lot longer, poor season that was not helped by the signings made last summer.
We are now no better than Chelsea or Liverpool in the management stakes.

So what has this Pelican geezer won so far other than a few minor leagues?

Fuckall by all accounts. Taken villa real and then Malaga into long runs in the champions league with little money but was pretty average at Real Madrid. Then again Barcalona then were at the peak of there powers.

Had to go I thought personally. Not sure what City fans expected, they are a plaything for the rich in the same way; PSG, Chelsea, Anzhi etc etc etc are.
They should have got a real quality manager to begin with, I don't think Mancini is that despite winning the league.

He racked up the most points Madrid ever have in a League season, as you say though Barca were impeccable at the time.
Malaga and Villarreal in particular played some superb football which is why he's so coveted IMO.

Be interesting to see what happens now. I would hope the new manager is all wrapped up and ready to take over but who knows.
Odds this morning were slashed on Mourinho taking over but I honestly don't want him.
