Van looked like this last track day

I hen added. Bonnet scoop and lowered bonnet down

Mate made these mirror covers

But on white mirrors looked good but not right

So had to change colour of mirrors really, also fitted diffuser to rear and semi flat bottom

This was during trial fitting.

Also smoothed Ariel off h roof, so was gonna go black mirrors diffuser and roof. They are currently in black basecoat.

But can't help thinking they would look good in flip to match heels, interior parts and in engine bay.

It's not hardly used on road now just sees the track. so flip or black for all the bits?

All opinions welcome. Good or bad, lol

Neither imo.

I think if you did the diffuser & roof etc in flip paint it'd be a bit ott, however if you did them in black then it wouldn't look right.

Leave it as it is imo.

To late for leaving them as it is, whoops.

Think black is a safe choice. Flip is bit risky. Flip has risk of looking tacky but but most track cars look kind of tacky and ott really.

Thanks toby, Brother mainly used the clio on track cos he had sold his car at the time, he now has a megane r26 and uses that on track, unfortunately clio not been on track for 12months. I gave him my track wheels off clio also so sort of stops me being able to use it on track :-(

Currently thinking of doing mirrors gloss black to go with carbon covers. Roof flip and not sure bout diffuser. May leave it satin like it is for now and see how it lasts on track day, exhaust may melt it for all I know yet, lol

i do love the Megane R26's, they are a great track machine out of the box. One of my brothers has one and my other brother has an R27. Do really rate the Renaultsports.

Yea the r26 is great all rounder, nice and civilised for normal road driving then good on track when he wants it for that, and reliable enough to drive to track day and know it won't break down. I love my clio, had it 3 years now and keep looking at cars for sale but I would be only be changing for the sake of it so no point, clio still faultlessly reliable till that gets an issue it will stay I think. Can't believe I have had the van for almost 6 years also.
