I don't think the video caught the incident, the camera seemed to catch it just post impact. The car didn't look that badly damaged but it was clearly bigger than it looked.

I wouldn't have thought that would be a fatal crash when looking at the video. It's a real reminder that people are pretty fragile in reality.

I dunno, the Senna crash was huge, 180mph. I remember watching that live and being stunned to silence. Barrichellos crash at the same circuit though, I thought he was dead instantly but walked away.

I was gunna say, senna crashed at 180mph straight into the barrier which was a little but different. Im sure there will be a report as to why in a week or two. First death since 1997 at lemans so im sure it will get some air time.

There was a tree directly behind the crash barrier which killed the driver.
And leading in class and crashing out. A sad 24hr for Aston Martin.
