Can anyone recommend me a set? Don't really want to pay anymore then £50. They will be used to connect my talktalk youview box to my broadband so will be used for streaming the on demand services?

I bought a set of TP Links a while back too, I've had no problems with them since setting them up and would recommend them:

They do occasionally seem to lose connection on the PC. But just turn them off and on and they work fine again

If the devices you're connecting together are on different floors of your property, you may experience slower then expected data transfer speeds. I hardly got over 1MB per second, however, the house i'm living in was built in the 1960's, and i can't confirm how good or bad the cables are etc.

I've got TP Links, on different floors but in a newbuild house, absolutely faultless, good piece of kit.

Same as Alun, over 2 floors in a new build, as said, streams 1080 fine, only seems to cut off when its not doing anything (PC is on 24/7)

I just popped into tesco on the way in to work and they had the 200 mbps set for £30 but I think I'll just have to wait a few days for delivery and order the 500mbps ones that were linked above.

Can check Ebuyer out. They have tonnes of homeplugs to choose from on there.

Its the main place I buy anything like that anymore!

They don't randomly disconnect, must be some kind of problem there, unless it's one of those buy cheap, get cheap things. I got some decent TP-Link ones. I've set them up in a few different houses with no issues at all, really rate them highly.

Had those a few weeks, must say they work great.

I've had a few random disconnects whilst on Xbox, i've put it down to a new broadband line though.

For best signal yes but I've used them on separate rings without an issue.

I've got 2 200mbps TP-Link ones that go across a 50 meter armoured cable to the stables - we have an IP camera set up in there for use when we have an ill horse or when one of them is about to foal. Works without issue. We did have Belkin ones too but they were fecking useless - they had some weird encryption and they kept dropping.

Ahh cool, that's pretty much why I was asking. The parents want a camera in the stable

Reason I didn't like them is because of the latter, why I got no connection is beyond me. I ended up just running a cable round the side of the house and down to my bedroom.
