It's been fantastic weather today so I detailed the old mans car ready for billing next week. I'm happy with the turn out. Bloody thing was full of tree sap. That mirror image it great stuff. No chalk either so black plastic stays black

Crappy pics on the iPhone but you the gist it's clean

Cheers fella's.. He loved the 888 before he bought it but he's got a German shepherd so the estate was needed
We fitted the XP pack, 888 colored 1.2 wheels and 888 suspension and he's happy with it

I saw a 888 at Sainsbury's in Leigh last weekend. First time I've seen one for years.

Love it when parents have decent modified motors.
Just linked this to my brother, looking to buy a MK5 Estate (150 CDTI), looks perfect.

Someone round my way has a white estate with the xp kit and all the 888 goodies. Brakes, suspension, wheels. It really is a beast as ive been in it and was seriously impressed. Obviously my bros 300bhp vxr feels faster but id rather have the estate for practicality and mpg.

Cheers lads
BenC... That white one is a lad off the Astra forums (pecky), It's proper smart. It's lower than my dads though as its on Coilovers. There is a black and a red one knocking around as well with all the 888 spec but don't know of the owners. The brakes are the only thing missing to complete my dads but with the price of them I don't think he's that arsed.
They do look wicked though behind them rims

The white one was owned/built by someone from Raunds. Then someone from Rushden bought it and uses it as a workhorse for the garage they run. Top lads and the only reason i got a passenger ride is because they was doing work on my car and kindly gave me a lift home. Once that sport buttons pushed its a proper animal. Lol Saying that this white one years ago pushed my old v6 vectra super touring out the way at 100mph and that used to keep up with my bros 3.0 v6 mk3 astra. Certainly not shy.

You can’t buy the proper wheels unless you get them off a breaker. I tried that... You need a chassis number to get them new.
To be honest... They are the same wheel, same manufacturer, they just say the genuine makers name round the rim instead of it not being stamped by team dynamics and a T8 sticker and centre cap fitted. They are the right colour and the right offset as the T8, the T8 has a one-off offset compared to the VXR. End of the day it’s not a T8 and never will be. It's the wrong shape
