Went fishing for a few days and beat my UK PB catfish

32lb.

Was an absolute monster to get in... pretty much ran me ragged around the lake!

Caught it about 2am and that was it, couldnt get back to sleep after i was so chuffed!

Yeah technically, they go up to 88lb in the lake i fished.

Cant imagine what a 80lber would go like, this one went mental once it realised it was hooked... i had almost no control over it. Was a great scrap.

bumping an old thread for the resident CS fisherman, might be interested in this, had a magazine feature in Angling Times last week on page 2 with a Perch I caught a few weeks back, 4lb 7oz Perch, won me some money and gifts which was a nice touch.

anyone else had anything decent recently?
