Oh.

Ok then.

My MR2.. Happened 3.30am last night/this morning police found it by chance passing by my house. Bunch o' cunts.

Makes a change from a "cleaned my car" thread i guess, gives you something to look at.

vandalism, sunglasses still sat on centre console, radio still in, USB drive still in radio. £10 in ash tray. And the silly cunts failed to realise almost every tool I own in the boot, lmao. knobs... full halfords 150pc set etc.. 2 full tool bags...

Pretty sure I know the group of people that did it, but as always, can't prove it. 1 camera of my CCTV on house was down.. have a guess at what camera was covering the car at that time?? Yeh

effort to take it off, and then i'd need to clean the window.. They could have also done me a favour and smashed the windscreen, whcih already has a 2 foot crack across it... but no, they chose the perfectly healthy glass thats a fucker to replace.

Nope, nothing inside car except a lot of glass.

Maybe they broke the window WITH another window.. That'd explain that one.

But no tbh, if i was going to break a window I wouldnt leave behind the thing I was holding, just in case... Wrap brick and hand in a towel/hoody etc, smash window, run off.

Managed to get a window with the same tint colour on eBay for £30. but when i was taking door apart and taking the wierd jap window stopper/locator bits off the regulator that bolt through the glass one of them broke. So getting another bit off one of the chaps on the mr2 forum.

hopefully should have all the bits after the weekend, back on the road tuesday.

more annoyed about being woke up at 3.30am by the old bill, lol

It doesn't affect your ncb, nor does it make your insurance go up in price. It's also far easier (and cheaper) than farting around trying to fix things, as you can see for yourself.

Must be some kind of moron to smash a wibdow for no reason. I'd be pissed that my cctv didn't catch the little shits, although they'd have probably covered their faces anyway, being the cowards that they are.

Glass turned up at 8:45 this morning. The replacement regulator stopper piece I needed turned up at 9:15 this morning. All done, back together, working perfectly by about 1pm this afternoon.

Total outlay was £30 for the glass, the stopper I got free from a chap on mr2oc. I reckon my excess for glass replacement would have been more than £30 and also would have had to be booked in somewhere and I'd lose the car for a longer period of time..

Brilliant day to be able to go for a drive, weather is blinding.
