Hi Guys,

As you probably know over the last 3 weeks I have been travelling the West Coast of America and will post pics in a thread later this week but i took the opportunity to do the world class driving in Vegas as it was a blast

I got to drive the challenger to the red rock as they did not have enough muscle car drivers and I was lucky enough to drive the lambo back to Vegas doing about 95mph to 100mph down the freeways and then through vegas down the strip to the garage as we were the last tour of the day

I have one vid in the 458posted below but i will post more as I get them off the wife's iphone

im going to try to hire something good to drive to phoenix in november from Vegas

how did you find the challenger, when i was there a few years back we got a challenger from enterprise but it was a poverty spec with no V8

in all honesty just a big version of our mustang - was fast and loud but felt heavy and wouldnt have liked topush it around the red rock like i did the others

The GT sounded emmense though and was full manual but didnt get to drive that as it was part of the muscle cars

Mount Charleston also had huge forest fire when we were there - smoke covered Vegas at one point

Awesome pics and cars mate. Doing the west coast trip in September, just undecided on what car to hire. Did you say you hired a Mustang? If so what was it like? I'm also tempted by the Merc E-Class as that is in the same price ball park as the Mustang.

Photos look mega hot, we did a desert trip one day and it wasn't possible to be outside for too long.

We got a Suburban and were very grateful for the room because we moved hotels every few days. Mustang or similar would be annoying unless you were two up and had no bags.

Mustang was brilliant - fitted 2 cases and 2 sets of hand luggage in the boot as the roof folds onto the car not into the boot

Definitely made driving more enjoybale with the roof down although Death valley and Palm Springs were too hot at 123'F and 117'F to have the roof down

Been Vegas twice now and the Venetian is definately one of my fave hotels there. The car thing you done looks awesome. Would love a go of that myself.
