Me and the Mrs looking for a mini-break, end of August beginning September to the Cotswolds. Would like a self catering cottage to get away from it all for a few days, but not too far from somewhere like Cheltenham, which we love.

Any recommendations for websites that do cottage bookings? An abundance on t'interweb but thought someone might know of a good'un.

Would consider the Peak District if it is a good price.

I went for a long weekend with the girlfriend a couple of months ago. We got a self catering cottage in Bibury which was lovely. Can't remember the site which doesn't help!

Morton-on-the-marsh, Bibury, Stow-on-the-wold are all nice but Bourton-on-the-water would be my choice. try cottages4u

We've used these people for the last 5 years. We go at least a couple of times a year and had no issues at all.
