What could cause my problem?
When the steering wheel is even slightly off center to the left and I accelerate, I get a grinding metal noise.
My tyres are not catching, and it is perfect when turning right or even slightly off center to the right.
What would cause this?

It was more like 1:11pm. Australia are 9 hours ahead of the UK from memory

As said wheel bearing jack the car up gold the wheel one hand at top (12 o'clock) other hand at bottom (6 o'clock) and push and pull on the wheel if there is play wheel moving bearing needs changing or if there's no play yet keep cheacking every day if it's just started grindging might not have developed play yet
