I'm looking to get an experience ride on a Chinook for someones birthday, but after a little Google I haven't found much.
Has anyone heard if they are even done in this country?

Never gonna happen mate. Suggest buying an old tank, storming an army base and stealing your own.

Yea as alot of the aircraft are in theatre, the ones in the UK are used for exercises and ABTF related taskings. They don't really do 'joyrides'

All helicopters fall out of the sky if you don't get the collective down quick enough just in some you have more time an others,
It's a good idea a chinook but I doubt it in this country, I bt you could abroad as there are companies that will fly you in various military aircraft for a price

If your grandma is the head of the armed forces I reckon you could probably wing a joyride in a chinook
