The misses dad has an escort cossie tucked away,

I've suggested buying it as hes not intrested in it anymore, he crashed it 20odd years ago it has be sat since,
Has all the parts to repair just needs the time and money,

I was thinking 3-4k however I have now found out it only has 2,000 miles,

What do you think would be a fair price? (rwd model)

he bought it at 22 brand new, story is a mate turned the traction control off and he spilled it,

I think he was just scared of it, bought it all to repair then didnt bother, always says to anyone who enqures about it "you'll kill yourself in it"

Didn't know they even had tc, but that was another family members story not sure how much they realy know

Why not ask him about it rather than believing what someone tells you?

From your description, it could be worth between 1 english pound and 50 thousand english pounds.

So why wasn't it repaired? Driving u insured?

I don't get how you would go out in 1992 and spend £20k on a brand new car, bend it then lock it up a d forget about it?! Surely you would just ring insurance and get it repaired

Turns out that its worth a lot not being an Excort cossie, but it could have well have been worth 20pence if just left to rot....and then there's that issue!

Sounds weird/fishy/not true to me.
