Is it the power increase or the work involved that puts u guys off?
Engine is very cheap if that makes a difference?

Well at the mo i`m getting 280 miles from £35 of petrol, the sr lump will be more economical, and quicker.

the amount of work for such little power mate.
plus the fact you want to put a 10 year old + engine that will have been to the moon and back over your nice new low mileage corsa engine think about it mate

my motor is a `94 spi with a severe drinking problem, over 80k on the clock now, sr lump is prob no worse off.

i dont no tbh ive only ever done 1600 gte engine and 2.0 nova mate is sr injection? if its injection just put in engine and box then plumb it all up should be the same mate

carbs use suction from tank and injection use pressure from a pump to get it to inlet manifold

it would be a lot easier to get a sri lump from either an early corsa or late nova, and use that. If you got a carb one, its far too much work to use. I have a sri 8v mpi engine for sale if your interested, u2u me.
£150 with everything!

bob dont bother. save and get a 2litre into it or a 16/16 at the least. anything else and you will be disappointed.

rms - how old r ya? im 20 and got an x16xe to go into my corsa but liverpool victoria wudnt insure me if i did, so im holdin out till im 21, shud be worth the wait tho
