I've always been told that losing weight is around 70% diet and 30% exercise.
So think about what you eat (and how much).
I definitely would not be ingesting chemicals to improve the rate of your weight loss.
I get why it's tempting, but I don't see no reason to compromise the health gains you get from your exercise by filling yourself with poison.
As for exercises, the most important thing, without a doubt, is that it's something that can keep you motivated.
Running will burn more calories per minute than riding a bike, but if you prefer to ride a bike then just do so.
Elliptical cross trainers and rowing machines are good for activating most of your body.
Whichever type of exercise you choose, interval training will usually give the best result in terms of calories burned.

Eat well, and run.. it's as simple as that.
Eat your proteins, don't eat your sugars and fats and it'll drop off you.
You've got to stick to it though it's no good running then eating a McDonalds

I started off losing weight by running every day and eating healthy.
I'm now doing weight training and eating more calories to put the weight on again in the hope I get more muscle.
I've only been doing this 3 weeks so i'll let you know how I get on
Good luck and stick at it

I managed to lose a stone within 6 weeks of running just for 30 mins a day (mon-fri) and eating healthy.
As I said i've just got into the weights now and i'm starting to take it seriously, making sure I eat all my proteins etc etc... it's just hard work especially when you're the newbie at the gym and you have to lift weights that are a 1/3rd of the weight the other guys are lifting.
Just stick to it or be a fatty for life mate.. I know which i'd rather do

I'm only 11stone 7 at the minute. I'm not even fat, i'm whats called "Skinny Fat"
I have gone from 11 stone on the dot to the above within a couple of weeks. I am eating 3000 calories a day though, so if I do not put muscle on this could be a big fail wont take me long to lose it though

I'm 5"11 and really need to put weight muscle on.. I still have a slight belly and man boobs but they can be disposed of when I cut .
I'm taking whey protein and creatine..
Not in the mood for the gym today, but off I go back in an hour

Thank fuck I got that out of the way lol,
And what you mean you don't know what shake to buy? protein is all the same mate and you need it to build and repair muscle. without getting enough protein you're wasting your time at the gym

I'll have two scoops in the morning with two scoops of instant oats, and two tea spoons of peanut butter and whack it in a blender.
If you're just taking shakes make sure you take one within half hour after working out.

No mate, i've done 1kg in a couple of weeks.. but it depends how much protein you need and what your goal is.
if you're going to be serious about it i'd recommend creatine too, as this will help you slightly with strength as it will seek water to your muscles and make you feel slightly bigger when working out

Eggs and chicken are your best bet.
Scrambled eggs, omelettes, brown rice etc..
Get all the good stuff in you and drink plenty of water

That's too much unless you sweat like a waterfall. Drinking too much water will wash out the salts in your body and result in water poisoning. I had it when I first started working out as I kept reading "drink lots of water" so I just went nuts.
You'll rarely need to drink more than 2.5 litres a day.

That's exactly the issue. Urine is trash your body has no need for, but when you're rid of all the trash you're just washing out a lot of stuff you actually have need for.
If your piss is crystal clear chances are you're drinking too much water.
