Guys I'm new to driving just got a astra x reg dti16v cd now I'm not sure where the Intercooler is I have a rad at the front and another rad on top of it I was told its a normal rad and a air con rad please help its doing my head inn and any tips how to make it faster its std at mo

Open the bonnet, and its on the right hand side of the radiator. It sits vertical.

You sure its a dti 16v then?? Fire up a pic of the front with the bonnet open.

i have noticed on dti16v the turbo pipe goes around engine, but the di,s goes over the engine and mine is going over engine

So its not a dti 16v then?? It'l be the low blow X20DTL engine which dosn't have an intercooler.

Can an intercooler be fitted and how can I make it quicker bit slow at mo. No doubt its had an engine change in its life

If it's had an engine change im sure they would've kept the intercooler and pipework. Just go to a scrappies and get the pipework and cooler off of a DTI or make the pipework up and fit any old intercooler
