There is only one way to deal with simple minded criminals. Pain related learning. Do something wrong = it hurts. They aren't intelligent enough to be taught any other way.

A Police officer shouldn't lash out, like his colleague said. However I would of done the same. We have so much trouble in this country, because people like that don't give a fuck, and they can get away with it, the Police should be able to deal out, a bit of corporal punishment. But the dick head that got bullied at school would take it too far, to make up for their childhood.
I'd like to know what the bloke was getting arrested for.

Agreed if it was you or me, police officers have certain rules and regulations to follow though. Your average Joe shop worker would be charged the same way if a customer was to spit at them - if anything the police should be less inclined to react, no matter how much the guy deserved to be knocked the fuck out.

The police officer should def face punishment. I would assume being spat on is fairly common place on a Friday night in some of this countries worst towns and cities.
Can't condone the criminals behavior, but at the same time the officer has clearly assaulted him. If a woman had spat in his face and he done the same would you still side with him?
