Have any of you done both the AAT Level 2 & 3...?

Would you recommend certainly doing the Level 2 before entering for the level 3?

Been looking into this myself. I took the AAT skills check and they suggested I start at level 2.
Just trying to decide where to do it now

my ex did it. She did accounting her national Diploma, Said she wasted a year by going to level 2 first.

If you have no prior experience go level 2.

It would make more sense to, from what I remember level 3 just builds on top of level 2, saying that I did it a fair few years ago.

edit - what is your current knowledge?

Worked in accounts payable for 5 years so budgeting etc I know a bit about financial structures, VAT, CIS.

Also did BTEC National in Business studies which slightly covered things.

Nothing specifically 'AAT' wise mind..

like I say would make sense to do level 2 then 3 (don't they only take like 6months?)

I imagine you could go straight in to level 3, may just have to do a bit more background reading.
