Anyone know why my iphone wont connect to itunes when i plug it into my laptop?
i must be doing something wrong somewhere
all i want to do is update my music?
really crap when it comes down to apple things

What OS?
Normally it is a case of just plugging it in and it should pick it up but sometimes I've found on windows this doesn't happen due to some driver wierdness but a reboot has normally fixed it.

If I plug it in. It starts to charge but won't recognise the phone anywhere. Not in "My computer" or in iTunes or anything?

If you look in your device manager is it listed when you connect it?
It should be listed under Portable devices

If you mean the one in iTunes? It's not there.
And I've tried 2 ports out of the 3 the laptops got?
