Yeah I've been to Antigua & Barbuda.... Really nice, as you can imagine! Also took a boat trip to some other random island and the water there was literally as blue as those WKD drinks! The people are very nice as well. They absolutely love cricket out there as well!

Swam with dolphins out there as well which was amazing.

Your hotel people will tell you about stuff to do, random boat trips as I say are pretty cool, and of course swimming with dolphins!

Wanted to go to Sandals, but it was about another £2.5k per person

I don't care how nice it is, it can't be £2.5k per person nicer than the place we booked.

I've done Sandals Antigua, was v.expensive and alright.. sounds like you've got a good deal..

I've been twice, fantastic place but some locals would slit your throat for a USD.

If you do go off resort be careful and if possible get a bit of gen off a local. I went out and about some local "bars" with my taxi driver, was an eye opener to say the least!

Only thing that spoiled it for me was I got married there. Arse.
