Need 4 new tyres, only a little 1.4 want some thing with decent tyre life and all round grip.

Which ones don't want to spend much either these are £40 each for nankang and £55 for rain sport would prefer the cheaper option if any one can rate them?

Set of 4 uniroyals in classified for £110. Says only been used a little.

If not I'd be stretching to £200 for Toyo Proxes

Quite disapointed in the uniroyals I put on my Impreza but never tried the Nankangs.

Currently got Vredestein Sessanta 2's and they're much better than the rainsports.

Toyos are £50 a corner. Hankook Ventus Prime 2 are £58 use them on my Clio in a 16. Good tyre.

I have never used Nangkang personally.

Nankang looking at online reviews are one to avoid, might not be keeping it so don't want to spend loads but also don't want to be sliding every were in the winter

Nankangs are decent enough in the dry but just plain dangerous in the wet.

Just bought some Toyo Proxies for my car. Having had them before, they were my first choice.

Are toyo's good wearing? At £50 a corner that's pretty decent, rate them in the wet to? My current ones are Marshall or some thing and if its slightly damp you slide every were :-/

For my 1.4 they're more than adequate.

Shouldn't drive like a twat and need mega grip in the wet anyway.

Had Toyos on the 106. Gripped extremely well on track day. Not the greatest in the wet but great in dry. Cheap and last plenty long enough.

I have nankangs on the front of my z4 and have had no issues. Rear grip on avons is rather rubbish though.

seconded.

wehn i bought the car it had two Nangkangs, a friend of mine has always said not good enogh for a wheelbarrow tyre and in the wet i have to agree, i quickly changed them and have kept the wheels as a second set for autosolos where rear end slip is favourable!

Are these rated? Just under £200 for a set of 4? or stick with the toyo's.
