Have they solved the banality of the missions? Or do you stil have to go here and kill Mr Xxxxx then go somewhere else to kill Mr Yyyy then repeat 500 times to unlock the next island?

Few of the reviews I've seen specifically mention that the missions are much better this time around.
Watch the IGN review, they explain how some of the larger missions work, how there's now halfway checkpoints, and how you can now freely replay missions later, if you want to try a different approach.

SPOILER ALERT FOR ANYONE BOTHERED

One of the first few missions, for example Jambo, involves getting a bomb into the 'facebook' HQ. You need to go and change clothes so you look like a fb employee, get into the place and plant a bomb in a prototype phone. You travel home, switch on the TV, change the channel to the press release of this prototype - and blow the guy's head off while sitting on the couch by phoning him. It's brilliant, everything I did was like this.

The last mission on GTA4 was an absolute dick kicker for that, having to re-do the car chase and shoot out just because the guy got away later on

Will be buying this on friday, no idea how much it costs though, £50? I don't think I've ever bought a brand new game for the XBOX I got Forza Horizon when it was fairly new but the box had a sticker on it saying second hand.

38 from Tesco was the best I heard of, so got it from there
