Just received the above IP cctv camera from ebay this morning, While plugged into the mains I'm getting a loud buzzing noise anyone with the same camera confirm if they have the same problem?

Also its a bloody nightmare plugging and unplugging from the mains very stiff.

I'm not 100% I trust this item Is there also any way of checking if its legit or a copy?

I had a similar thing, power supply blew after a short period. I suspected the seller had imported them cheap with the wrong plugs then bought some cheapo UK ppwer supplies.

Don't fancy coming back to a burnt down house!

Is it just the power supply? or the unit it self?

Was the power supply in the box?

I've had an import unit that came with a UK adapter separately that was shocking and made a noise like that. Lucky I had spare power adapter so just used that

Its the power supply mate was also included with the camera.

I haven't tried it again as it made another weird nose after only been on for less than 5 minutes.

Jut a case of opening up a port and forwarding it to the IP of the camera. It might be worth setting a fixed IP on the camera just in case the router decides to change the IP it allocates
