Alright their guys I've just swapped out my
X14xe for another and now am having real teething problems
The car will sit and idle and can take the rev but when
I come to the road end the car dies out
I've changed the battery,crankshaft sensor,plugs and leads
Anyone able to shed some light in this for me ??

When you did the change, did you change the injection loom too and the knock sensor under the
Inlet manifold ????
early and late are different from each other! car will start and tick over but under load, dies. is your
ECU plug white and pink or cream and pink??

ECU plugs are white and pink yes and we're is the knock sensor located excatly yes the injection loom has been changed under load after 2500rpm the car is fine

Well got the car running a good bit better the night
Put another crank sensor on still a bit lumpy on idle
An seems to be over fueling a bit any more ideas out their ??

I had a problem just like that when my EGR valve gave up. Fitted a new one all good but u could blank it off

If it smells strong on fuel, try changing the CTS mate! worked on mine, made it idle better
too

Sorry mate coolant temp sensor has been changed and tried in another car no difference

Could this be a throttle position sensor or idle control valve fault ??

Well egr been blanked off new idle control valve fitted car smells very strong on fuel any other ideas on this car runs well but stops if you come to a junction ??

the smell could be a split hose.

no idea why it would be stalling though
