Don't think the bouncer did anything wrong tbh

If he'd kicked him while he was down, then maybe so, but the other guy was the aggressor, bouncer was protecting himself/his place of work

Yer total mug for picking a fight with the doorman in the first place but that bouncer is supposed to be a professional he's already thrown the prick guy out thats his job done. The bouncer has totally seen red and in a rage went way OTT and slammed the kid into the pavement there was no need for that imo. Might just be the way the video is edited but the bouncer strikes first with the kick.

Thought they were meant to use minimal force? This was from last week as its been on the news etc round here. I just think if the second bouncer had stepped in and they could have subdued him without smashing him off the floor.

Looks horrendous, slamming someone head first into the pavement can break a neck or give someone brain damage.

break his neck will probably do the world a favour, and brain damage probably wouldnt affect him much, picking fights with bouncers, obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed to begin with.

Must of been watching a different video to me because it wasnt head first? The kid had his fists up to the bouncer before he tried to swipe his leg.

Excessive use of force for sure, a jab to the nose would have been less serious in my opinion.

He's a Doorman not a 'Street'-man.. He'll be in the shit for that excessive use of force.

.....But damn he's a double hard bastard!

Excessive use of force as if he has time to stop and think how hard he is allowed to hit the guy standing trying to take his head off in the street.

You've answered your own question there, the guy was standing in the street.. He is a bouncer/doorman NOT the police, he has no right to restrain/touch people in the street, he is there to protect the private property he has been paid to protect.

P.S. I'm not saying the guy didn't deserve it

From the video the guy was acting aggressively and potentially posing a threat, hence the doorman acted in self defense. Has nothing to do with his job.

Whether he should have been able to subdue the guy more discreetly/efficiently is a different matter, but I certainly don't see a use of excessive force.

Self defence or not, he's a 'professional' who deals with the public and is expected to act in a certain manor.. Body slamming someone half his size into the pavement (albeit massively entertaining) is not part of the job description.

I didn't ask a question let alone answer it

At the point the guy becomes physically aggressive towards the bouncer, the fact the guy is a bouncer becomes a side-note. He has every right to defend himself as a person, not a doorman.

But he didn't become physically aggressive.

The bouncer kicked him, then he became aggressive.
