So, two years after their last one (which was brilliant), Arctic Monkeys are about to start another tour around the UK!

22/10- Metro Arena, Newcastle
23/10- Phones4U Arena, Manchester
25/10- Earls Court, London
26/10- Earls Court, London
28/10- Echo Arena, Liverpool
29/10- Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff
31/10- LG Arena, Birmingham
01/11- SEE Hydro, Glasgow
02/11- Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield

Getting tickets was a mission, selling out in only a few minutes but I managed to get 4 for next Saturday at Earls Court. So so looking forward to it, they're amazing live!

Anyone else going to any of the dates?

What's their latest album like? It's on my birthday list but I'm only going by what their current single release is like...

I really like it, best yet I think, certainly better than the 2nd & 3rd. Only criticism is its duration really, think its only 40-45 minutes so it doesn't take long to listen to in the Colchester & Essex traffic jams!

Where is the phones4u arena in Manchester? Is that what they are calling the M.E.N these days?

Best yet! It is very good but I think their first album is still the best (IMO of course)

So is Birmingham, but both require effort

Well last Saturday was incredible. They've really improved in the two years since I last saw them.

However, the UK leg of the tour has ended on a bad note

Birmingham, Glasgow & Sheffield have all be cancelled due to Alex Turner being diagnosed with Laryngitis.

The dates have been re-scheduled for a couple of weeks time. But all mid-week so no doubt people with tickets aren't best pleased!

On the plus side, might mean there's some spares about I've got a couple of days holiday left too.

Some dude got his face smashed to bits at a London show in the mosh pit too

Also, they didn't cancel the gig midweek until an hour before the show, so most people had already travelled there to see it. Poor form.
