Had a corsa D 1.2 sxi this weekend and have to say it was disappointing. Engine struggled upto speed, lack of power, car felt heavy. Prefer my C to the D.

What are others opinions on the D?

D is a far superior car to the C.

I actually prefer the B to the C (except the 1.8 and 1.3CDTi) but as said, the D is far superior car.

This was the 1.2 sxi, I agree with the people who say a bigger engine would be better.

My missus has a 1.4 design 5 door corsa d and it drives quite nicely. Handles ok and not as slow as a snail, not quick though. My old sport would of cained it. Wouldnt have a car that size with anything less than a 1.4.

I'm driving my girlfriend's 1.3CDTi LE and I must admit I love it. It's not exactly the fastest car in the world but it's well built and goes fine. Miles apart from my old B.

Quality wise a massive improvement.

But the 1.2 is vastly underpowered compared to the C. Dread to think what the 1.0 is like.

This.

Garage I use has 2 courtesy cars. 1s a 1.2 and 1s a 1.4. Both look the same. Had the 1.4 out and it wasn't much better than the 1.2.

Club spec so not sure what the BHP is.

Corsa D is great IMO. I had one as a courtesy car once, nice new SXi. Was pretty slow though!
