Very nice. Why are they launching this when the 1 series does so well? Is it much bigger?

It's the replacement for the former 1-Series Coupe

The 1-Series badge will remain the ugly fat arsed thing it is now and not be designated to a Coupe going forwards

Same with the 4-Series over the 3.

They are going to do a coupe 1series now apparently. Bit like they said 4series was 3series coupe, now bringing out the 4series gran coupe which is a 4door saloon

just looks like a 3 series front on a 1 series coupe back end. dont really see the point unless like someone said, it was gonna be a coupe only replacement for the 1 series.

We had a 4 on demo other day, I want one, if that's anything to go by 2 will be stunning also.

in direct competition with the A3 saloon - saw one the other day and it looked nice

Only thing I don't get it they are releasing a grand coupe version of each. CEO just got M6 grand coupe, one of directors is fancying a 4 grand coupe next year at launch.

Although sleeker than 1 / 3 / 5 etc why release the 4 door.

Same with Audi A5, so much nicer as the coupe.

Also talk of bringing out an 8 again to compete with likes of Bentley GTC.
