I have BT sport so doesn't affect me, but this is pretty shite.
Part of me wonders if this is UEFA getting their own back for the ruling about not selling off the World Cup and Euro games.
Pretty worrying how easily UEFA and FIFA are selling out these days.

@owen_g
BT Sport is currently free to broadband subscribers, but pricing model expected to change from 2015 when Champions League rights kick in.

Even worse then really.
Very worst scenario should be only pre knock out stage on pay tv, everything after should be free to view

Not saying that how I think it will happen, but if they are going down pay to view route, how it should happen in the very worst scenario. Obviously they are going to make everything pay for, which is crap.

I'm sure sky will reduce the cost of sky sports when this happens
JJ, they might even start showing more lower league matches in its place

I hope not. All TV does is fuck around with travel for away fans. Its expensive enough to get train tickets when they are cheaper months in advance, without then them being a waste of money when Sky decides it fancies showing you on a friday night instead.

£299M per year, thats just crazy.
BT Sport are certainly taking the fight to Sky, sadly all it means though is the consumer faces coughing up more money for exactly the same thing they did the year before.

They'll pay unlimited amounts for this if they can sign more people up for expensive phone and broadband services.
