i have a powerbox on my car running unichip etc etc, but my mrs has got1 now will it work ok with a standard ecu will it throw the engine out or wat ???????

the standard ecu can work up to 140 bhp any more and it'll throw the engine.

I ran one with a standard ECU, no chip or nothing. It worked fine, there is just more to gain from a chip at a later date if you wish.
If you spent the money to get to 140bhp then you would be a right fool to not have touched the management!
I very much doubt you can get near to 140bhp from a 1.4 without touching the management.
