That is pretty cool. Wonder if they just moved the speakers about for different sections, would need a lot of speakers otherwise.

Sure it's been posted before but it's an incredible video, more so when you realise what was involved to achieve the final result

Blu - They didn't just press play on a CD player - they spent months recording audio of the MP4 (various sources including the car), then recreating the engine audio using the telemetry data (including minute throttle hesitations, lifts and blips) and then knocking up they're own 'software' (using MaxMSP) for simulations and the final show.
On top of that they had to deal with the LED animation side of it.

It's not just cool, it's stupidly impressive!


John - Likewise, i would have thought they'd do it in sections to make it manageable although there are a few articles that mention they lined the entire length of the track which seems a little insane tbf.
Can't find any official statement that says what they did do though.
